Frank Spinelli built what began as a 1959 partnership in a corner store into an Edmonton institution. Since his death in 2000, his daughter, Teresa, has scaled up the company dramatically. It‰Ûªs now a retailer, importer and wholesaler supplying specialty food products to stores and restaurants across Western Canada. The company‰Ûªs heart remains its flagship store in Edmonton‰Ûªs Little Italy, which combines an abundant selection of rare pastas, espressos, imported chocolate, olive oils, cheeses and deli meats with an authentic European feel. Italian Centre also offers a wide variety of European health and beauty products, housewares, pasta machines, cappuccino makers and wine-making supplies.
