Guelph-based Linamar is the second-largest auto-parts maker in the world, with 59 manufacturing facilities across North America, Europe and Asia. This year, CEO Linda Hasenfratz has been advocating hard for Canadian companies, as one of 13 members of the NAFTA Council. But that doesn’t mean the company isn’t covering their bases in the event that Trump gets his way with regards to made-in-America goods. In October, Linamar opened its seventh U.S.-based production facility in the U.S.
