Everybody knew Ontario’s liquor and beer stores were outdated, but nobody seemed able to fix them. Enter Ed Clark, TD’s former CEO, who led a review of government assets on behalf of Premier Kathleen Wynne. Thanks to Clark, beer and wine will finally be available in grocery stores. It’s a small change that speaks to the larger shifts that he’s pushing through, including the partial sale of Hydro One, Ontario’s electricity and transmission and distribution utility.
