A supremely well-connected man who pals around with Bill Clinton, Frank Giustra is a high-profile philanthropist who intends to give away most of his fortune. That fortune was made in the mining industry, which is where he’s once again having a big impact. After a detour into the movie business (Giustra founded Lions Gate Entertainment), he’s back to funding junior mining companies. The sector, he believes, is nearing bottom, and his cash could bring it back up.
