There’s a big difference between having money and being wealthy. Having money means you can afford to spend almost four-figures on a duffel bag. Being wealthy means you call it a weekender. It’s the latter group that already know Mismo by name. The decade-old Danish luggage designer doesn’t go for logos. It simply adheres to those oh-so-Scandinavian design values of simplicity, functionality and durability. The 2012 edition of Mismo’s oversized Explorer carries everything you need for a short business trip, while the hardy canvas-and-leather construction is built to retain its elegance through years of abuse. It does not come with wheels. If you can afford this, you can afford to have someone carry it when you get tired.
