Summer’s over, and here in Canada that signals both the end of our warm weather and the final days of the golf season. But wait! Just a short flight off the east coast of our fine continent lays the balmy island of Bermuda. Known for its beautiful beaches, colonial heritage and a certain geometric-shaped mystery, it’s also host to the 29th edition of the PGA’s Grand Slam of Golf, to be held on the weekend of Oct. 18. And if watching the world’s best swing their clubs at the stunning Port Royal Golf Course isn’t quite enough to convince you to don some knee-length shorts, then pour yourself a Dark ’n’ Stormy and peruse some of the other highlights this tiny nation has to offer.
