David S. Gallant of Brampton, Ont., was fired from his Canada Revenue Agency call centre job in January after National Revenue Minister Gail Shea read about a video game he’d developed. Called “I Get This Call Every Day,” the game allows players to respond to inane questions from clueless taxpayers. “The Minister considers this type of conduct offensive and completely unacceptable,” Shea’s office wrote to the Toronto Star, vowing to investigate.
