If you have a successful business, then you probably have a nice set of wheels—especially in the eyes of auto thieves. Audi TT Quattro owners have the most to fear. Among vehicles that retail for an average price of at least $50,000, the 2000 Audi TT Quattro 2 Door Coupe is the larcenist’s fave. According to Insurance Bureau of Canada statistics provided to PROFIT by an IBC member (the IBC would not divulge any information), this model was 5.9 times as likely to be stolen in 2006-07 as the average $50,000-plus vehicle.

Making up the rest of the top 10 most vulnerable models were the 2001 TT  uattro Roadster (which was 5.2 times as likely to be stolen); 2001 TT Quattro 2 Door Coupe (4.4); 2003 Cadillac Escalade 4 Door 4WD (4.3); 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4 Door 4WD (4.1); 2005 Ford F350 Super Duty 4WD (4.0); 2002 and 2006 F350 Super Duty 4WD (tied at 3.9); and 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 4WD and 2003 F350 Super Duty 4WD (tied at 3.4).
