The 9 global fast-food restaurants we have to bring to Canada

A while ago Canadian Business ran a story about Jollibee, the popular Philippine burger joint, and its plans to open its first locations in Canada. What did we learn? People go nuts for Jollibee: the comment section on that page is just people asking the company to open a location in their city (and it got 14,000 likes on Facebook). Popular South African chicken restaurant Nando’s has also made inroads in Canada. We think there’s room for plenty more.

So we started making a list: what other global fast-food must-haves are we missing in Canada? Sure we’re loyal to standbys like Tim Hortons, but we’re also a multicultural nation of adventurous eaters, and we think it's time these global fast-food chains came and set up shop here.
