POLL: Canadians may not love oil pipelines, but we prefer them to rail

This year’s fiery rail accidents in Lac-Megantic, Que., and Gainford, Alta., have changed public attitudes to transporting petroleum products. More Canadians now favour transporting oil in pipelines than by rail, even when it comes to their own neighbourhoods.
