BERLIN – Germany’s unemployment rate was steady at 6.3 per cent in November as the labour market in Europe’s largest economy remained strong.
The Federal Statistical Office said Thursday that 2.72 million people were out of work in Germany in November, about 16,000 fewer than in October and not enough to change the unemployment rate.
Adjusted for seasonal trends the rate stood at 6.6 per cent, the same as in October after the Statistical Office revised downward its initial report of 6.7 per cent.
