U.K. luxury label Mulberry among several brands to launch first Canadian stores

TORONTO – The steady stream of foreign chains entering the Canadian retail market is continuing later this year as several top-tier brands plan to set up shop.

Fashion retailer All Saints, British luxury label Mulberry and Spain’s Zara Home are slated to open their first locations in Canada at Yorkdale Shopping Centre in Toronto.

Jewelry brand David Yurman, womenswear retailer White House Black Market and men’s lifestyles brand John Varvatos are also poised to launch in Canada with locations at Yorkdale.

Microsoft, Ann Taylor, J. Crew, Topshop and Topman are among the well-known retailers and brands that have opened bricks-and-mortar locations in Canada over the past several years.

U.S. discount retailer Target officially opens for business in Canada on Tuesday with three locations in Ontario.
