TORONTO – Redline Communications Group Inc. (TSX:RDL) has named Robert Williams as its chief executive and director.
Williams has been interim CEO at Toronto-based Redline since August. He joined the company in May 2010.
“Redline’s board of directors engaged in a global search for a leading executive who could continue the Company’s momentum,” board chairman Philippe de Gaspe Beaubien said in a statement Tuesday.
“As it happens, the person for the job was already at the helm of the company. Although he has only been in the role of interim CEO for four short months, Robert Williams has made important changes that better position Redline for success, and the board is grateful that he accepted our offer to become CEO full-time.”
Redline provides broadband wireless solutions and machine-to-machine communications to various clients, including governments, militaries and oil and gas companies.
