B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Down seven cents, or 1.79 per cent, to $3.84 on 10.1 million shares.
Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Down 24 cents, or 1.89 per cent, to $12.49 on 8.3 million shares.
Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Down 30 cents, or 5.60 per cent, to $5.06 on 7.5 million shares.
Eldorado Gold Corp. (TSX:ELD). Miner. Down one cent, or 0.23 per cent, to $4.43 on 6.9 million shares.

Penn West Petroleum Ltd. (TSX:PWT). Oil and gas. Down nine cents, or 4.23 per cent, to $2.04 on 2.2 million shares. Penn West says its third-quarter revenue was less than half what it was a year ago, but its loss for the period was reduced by nearly 70 per cent as it slashed operating costs. The Calgary-based company lost $232 million or 46 cents per share in the three months ended Sept. 30, an improvement from a $764-million loss or $1.52 per share in the third quarter of 2015.
Torstar Corp. (TSX:TS.B). Publishing. Up two cents, or 1.24 per cent, to $1.63 on 184,966 shares. Torstar reported a $1.4-million profit attributable to shareholders for the third quarter, helped by cost reductions and $53.6 million from the sale of its Vaughan printing plant. But it said its Metroland and Star groups continue to face a challenging market for print advertising in the early stages of the fourth quarter. The profit amounted to two cents per share compared with a loss attributable to shareholders of $164.3 million or $2.05 per share a year ago.
