BlackBerry Ltd. (TSX:BB). Wireless communications. Down 38 cents, or 4.27 per cent, to $8.51 on 1.4 million shares. BlackBerry is hanging up on the Classic, less than two years after the Waterloo, Ont.-based company launched the smartphone with much fanfare. The decision to stop making the phone comes as BlackBerry brushes aside calls to get out of the hardware business altogether and instead focus solely on its burgeoning software technology.
