Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Up 22 cents, or 2.96 per cent, to $7.65 on 6.3 million shares.
Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Up 16 cents, or 1.53 per cent, to $10.60 on five million shares.
First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Up 49 cents, or 5.25 per cent, to $9.83 on five million shares.
Iamgold Corp. (TSX:IMG). Miner. Up five cents, or 0.98 per cent, to $5.13 on 4.8 million shares.

BlackBerry Ltd. (TSX:BB). Wireless communications. Up 29 cents, or 3.36 per cent, to $8.92 on 2.6 million shares. BlackBerry had a US$670 million net loss in the first quarter of its 2017 financial year, but says its recovery plan for this year remains on track. The loss amounted to $1.28 per share and included a US$501-million writedown of the smartphone company’s assets and $23 million in restructuring charges, among other things.
