Teck Resources Ltd. (TSX:TCK.B). Miner. Down 49 cents, or 7.24 per cent, to $6.28 on 4.3 million shares.
Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Down 57 cents, or 9.39 per cent, to $5.50 on 4.3 million shares.
Whitecap Resources Inc. (TSX:WCP). Oil and gas. Down 89 cents, or 7.27 per cent, to $11.36 on 4.2 million shares.

Molson Coors Canada Inc. (TSX:TPX.B). Beverages. Up $5.64, or 4.81 per cent, to $122.97 on 4,914 shares. Molson Coors will nearly double its size once it completes a US$12-billion purchase that secures full ownership of its U.S. beer business and gains worldwide control of the Miller brand name. Canada’s share of total Molson Coors revenue will drop to 15 per cent, from 24 per cent, while the U.S. share will grow by 20 percentage points to 64 per cent. Europe will account for 18 per cent and other markets will be three per cent.
Extendicare Inc. (TSX:EXE). Health-care. Up 27 cents, or 2.98 per cent, to $9.34 on 562,503 shares. Extendicare Inc. is expanding its presence in Ontario and Saskatchewan with a series of acquisitions and developments, including the purchase of three retirement communities in deals announced on Wednesday. The company, based in Markham north of Toronto, will buy the 116-suite Stonebridge seniors home in Saskatoon and the Riverbend facility in Regina for a total of $50.2 million from Brightwater Senior Living Group.
