Michaels and Hess slide, Teva and JetBlue trade higher

Michaels Cos. (MIK), down $1.75 to $27.13

The arts and crafts store chain gave a disappointing forecast and said it will sell more stock.

Imprivata (IMPR), up $4.51 to $19.01

The health care security software maker agreed to be bought by the private equity firm Thoma Bravo for $19.25 per share, or about $488 million.

Hess Corp. (HES), down $2.11 to $58.02

Energy companies fell with the price of oil Wednesday.

JetBlue Airways Corp. (JBLU), up 20 cents to $18.21

Investors were pleased with the airline’s results for the month of June.

Juno Therapeutics Inc. (JUNO), up $2.63 to $30.42

Regulators allowed Juno to restart a study of a cancer drug after a brief halt following the deaths of two patients.

AAR Corp. (AIR), down $2.31 to $22.73

The airplane maintenance company posted weaker-than-expected results for its fiscal fourth quarter.

Aetna Inc. (AET), up $3.68 to $119.18

Health care companies, including insurers, made some of the biggest gains on Wednesday.
