VANCOUVER – VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Mercer International Inc. (MERC) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter profit of $21.7 million.
The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had net income of 33 cents per share.
The pulp company posted revenue of $237.8 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $75.5 million, or $1.17 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.03 billion.
Mercer International shares have dropped 32 per cent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $6.14, a drop of 55 per cent in the last 12 months.
