Here are the government’s rankings of the leading airlines and their on-time performance for March. The federal government counts a flight as on time if it arrives within 14 minutes of schedule.
1. Hawaiian Airlines, 87.3 per cent
2. Alaska Airlines, 85.6 per cent
3. Delta Air Lines, 84.0 per cent
4. SkyWest, 82.5 per cent
5. Southwest Airlines, 80.0 per cent
6. US Airways, 79.1 per cent
7. Virgin America, 78.9 per cent
8. United Airlines, 78.2 per cent
9. ExpressJet, 76.2 per cent
10. American Airlines, 75.4 per cent
11. Spirit Airlines, 73.9 per cent
12. JetBlue Airways, 71.5 per cent
13. Envoy Air, 67.8 per cent
14. Frontier Airlines, 65.2 per cent
Total for all reporting airlines: 78.7 per cent

The department also reported American and US Airways together as 77.0 per cent. Both airlines and Envoy Air are owned by American Airlines Group Inc.
