WASHINGTON – A Harvest Co. is recalling about 720 of its Cork Stacker block sets due to a potential choking hazard.
The company said Wednesday that smal pieces of cork can break off the blocks, posing a possible choking hazard to young children.
Harvest said it has received seven reports of cork pieces breaking off of the blocks, including two reports of children mouthing the cork pieces.
No injuries have been reported.
The recall is for a three-piece cork block stacking set. The blocks are different sizes: 2 7/8 inch by 2 7/8 inch, 2 3/8 inch by 2 3/8 inch and 2 inch by 2 inch. All of the blocks are 1 1/2 inches tall. They have black dots on the top.
The product packaging is labeled “6mo+” for use by children six months and older.
The block sets were sold exclusively online at StorkStack.com during January as part of the January Stork Stack subscription. The cost was about $30 for five products.
Consumers should immediately stop using the toys and contact Harvest for instructions on returning the block sets for a merchandise credit.
