CHICAGO – Grain futures were mostly lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Sept. delivery fell 14 cents at $4.15 a bushel; Sept. corn fell 2.25 cents to 3.3250 a bushel; Sept. oats was off 4 cents at $2.0025 a bushel; while Aug. soybeans gained 9.75 cents to $9.9350 a bushel.
Beef was higher and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. August live cattle was up .92 cent at $1.1387 a pound; August feeder cattle rose .75 cent to $1.4245 a pound; while August lean hogs fell 1.07 cents at $.7460 a pound.
