Grain mostly lower, livestock mixed

CHICAGO – Grain futures were mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery was off 4.50 cents at $4.5425 a bushel; July corn fell 5.75 cents to 3.8725 a bushel; July oats up 0.75 cents at $2.0725 a bushel; while July soybeans declined 13 cents to $11.2450 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. June live cattle was up 1.40 cents at $1.1675 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 2.20 cents to $1.4237 a pound; while July lean hogs were off .20 cent at $.8427 a pound.
