CHICAGO – Grain futures were mostly lower Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for March delivery fell 2.25 cents to $4.90 a bushel; March corn was off .50 cent to 3.6975 a bushel; March oats was gained 2.25 cents to 2.3225 a bushel; while January soybeans declined 2.50 cents to $8.5750 bushel.
Beef was mixed and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. February live cattle was off .03 cent to $1.3202 a pound; January feeder cattle rose 1.65 cents to $1.6410 a pound; while February lean hogs rose 1.60 cents at $.5832 a pound.
