Grain mixed, livestock higher

CHICAGO – Grain futures were mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept. delivery rose 7.50 cents at $4.2525 a bushel; Sept. corn was up .75 cent to 3.35 a bushel; Sept. oats was off .25 cent at $2.0750 a bushel; while Aug. soybeans declined 26 cents to $10.0650 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. August live cattle was up 2.43 cents at $1.0995 a pound; August feeder cattle gained 2.80 cents to $1.3720 a pound; while August lean hogs rose .82 cent at $.7527 a pound.
