CHICAGO – Grain futures were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Dec delivery was unchanged at $5.2675 a bushel; Dec corn was 1.75 cents lower at $3.58 a bushel; Dec oats were unchanged at $3.605 a bushel; while Nov soybeans fell 8.25 cents to $9.85 a bushel.
Beef was higher and pork mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Dec live cattle was .15 cent higher at $1.6925 pound; Oct feeder cattle was .30 cent higher at 2.3700 a pound; Dec lean hogs gained .28 cent to $.8900 a pound.
