CHICAGO – Grain futures were lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for July delivery was off 14.50 cents at $4.5850 a bushel; July corn fell 25 cents to 3.9625 a bushel; July oats lost 1.75 cents at $2.0650 a bushel; while July soybeans declined 10.25 cents to $11.3325 a bushel.
Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. June live cattle was up .55 cent at $1.1505 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 2.60 cents to $1.3927 a pound; while July lean hogs were off .22 cent at $.8620 a pound.
