CHICAGO – Grain futures were lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery was .50 cent lower at $4.5060 a bushel; May corn was 3.50 cents lower at $3.6060 a bushel; May oats was .25 cents higher at $1.8720 a bushel; while May soybeans lost 1.25 cents at $8.71 a bushel.
Beef higher and pork was mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle was 1.30 cents higher at $1.3745 a pound; March feeder cattle was 1.70 cents higher at $1.5965 a pound; April lean hogs gained .23 cent at $.7170 a pound.
