CHICAGO – Grain futures were lower Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Dec delivery lost 9 cents to $5.1775 a bushel; Dec corn was 6.75 cents lower at 3.53 a bushel; Dec oats fell 8.75 cents to $3.5175 a bushel; while Nov soybeans declined 15.75 cents to $9.7750 a bushel.
Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Dec live cattle fell 2.20 cents to $1.6690 a pound; Nov feeder cattle was 2.05 cents lower at $2.3465 a pound; while Dec lean hogs rose 1.53 cents to $.9025 a pound.
