CHICAGO – Grain futures were higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Dec. was up 3 cents to 4.1450 a bushel; Dec. corn gained 3.50 cents to 3.5750 a bushel; Dec. oats was up 17 cents at $2.32 a bushel; while Nov. soybeans gained 4.25 cents to $10.1425 a bushel.
Beef mixed, pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. October live cattle was up 1.07 cents at $1.0412 a pound; October feeder cattle lost .05 cent to $1.2192 a pound; while December lean hogs gained 1.17 cents at $.4537 a pound.
