CHICAGO – Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Mar delivery was unchanged at $5.8975 a bushel; Mar corn was 2 cents higher at $3.9175 a bushel; Dec oats were unchanged at $2.9875 a bushel; while Jan soybeans gained 5.50 cents at $10.16 a bushel.
Beef and pork mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Feb live cattle was .32 cent lower at $1.6665 pound; Jan feeder cattle was .80 cent higher at 2.3675 a pound; Feb lean hogs lost .17 cents to $.8645 a pound.
