SEASIDE HEIGHTS, N.J. – Visitors who are dreaming of summer at the Jersey shore will find three motels Seaside Heights have been rebranded under national chains.
Toms River-based J & Co. Hotels bought, renovated and rebranded the properties following Superstorm Sandy.
Operations manager Rex Jariwala tells the Asbury Park Press (http://on.app.com/1wvO5rn ) one of the big benefits of a recovery is there is going to be more economic activity. He says the company wanted to bring the brands to Seaside to show people they can bring their families for a vacation.
The Cranbury Inn has become a Days Inn, The Hotel Charlee is an Econo Lodge and The Seaport Motel has become a Motel 6.
Seaside’s acting business administrator Christopher Vaz says the impact will depend on how well the motels treat their guests.
