VANCOUVER – Absolute Software Corp. (TSX:ABT) is raising its quarterly dividend by 17 per cent to seven cents per share, starting with the Nov. 28 payment to shareholders.
The Vancouver-based company provides software that secures lost or stolen laptops, tablets and smartphones
Absolute said Monday the dividend increase reflects confidence in its ability to generate strong and sustainable cash flows combined with a potential for future growth.
The company is scheduled to release its financial results for the first quarter of its 2015 financial year on Nov. 3 and hold its annual meeting on Dec. 8.
Absolute shares gained three cents to C$6.85 in Monday in Toronto.
