Canadian Business wins Website of the Year at Canadian Online Publishing Awards

COPACanadian Business took home five awards Wednesday evening at the Canadian Online Publishing Awards (COPA) ceremony in Toronto.

Most notably, the website won COPA’s top award of the evening—Website of the Year, a non-divisional accolade that considered Canadian Business among all its peers in Canada’s publishing industry.

Canadian Business also received top honours within its division in four other categories, including best smartphone app, best tablet edition, and best overall companion website. The fourth category, best cross-platform initiative, was awarded to Canadian Business for our long-form piece, “The Empire Strikes Back.” The article, written by Tim Shufelt, analyzes a $200 million investment in the Toronto Blue Jays by Rogers (which owns Canadian Business).

COPA is an initiative of Masthead, the premier news source for Canada’s magazine industry.
