Earl Jones, the Montreal financial consultant suspected of running a Ponzi scheme, is now in police custody and scheduled to appear in court July 28. It will be interesting to see what sentence the Canadian judicial system hands down. There seems to be a general cynicism that Earl Jones facesanything more than a slap on the wrist. Here are some online comments to that effect (from a CBC report):
